As a floral designer I spend a lot of time thinking about the best way to dress a room. Tall centrepiece arrangements will look too imposing in an intimate dining room and small jam jar designs will be lost in a 400 person marquee.

For this wedding we needed to dress 35 tables in a high ceilinged marquee. The florals needed to make an impact and provide variety.

I decided on 3 different types of arrangement for the marquee.

Tall arrangements on clear glass vases – ┬áto allow the guests to be able to talk across the table.

Wide steps led up to the entrance of the marquee and we decorated these with lanterns and flower rings and used the venues trees dressed up with flowers, lights and ribbon.

The church was decorated with modern pedestal arrangements and pew ends reflecting the colours of the brides bouquet.
